Work on your Rendering. Especially on a Jim Lee piece that is Rendering Intensive. Use Scott's inks on him as reference. Otherwise, any editor will just look at it and stop right there...or just pass it by and not say a word.

but fear not, it's been a bane in my career as well, so just keep working on it.

I pretty much given up on trying to do Jim lee pages, I can never get them right. I found so far I cannot do him or Lenil Yu. But who they have no doing inks there is no reason to do them anyway.

Yeah. I've got the cover to All Star #6 bluelined and printed out. Kinda holding back from doing it right now. the paper's a little bent from getting stuck in the printer at Staples, but I've got a few other pages to do before I hit that one up.

the thing to remember with rendering, especially from solid black shapes, is that it's Thin to Thick. Or Thick to thin, depends on which way your doing the pull. I've been doing a lot of Render heavy stuff of late, so I've managed to get a little better. the MAD! piece I'm working on right now is somewhat render heavy, especially on Venom, and some of it's ok....but I think I'm gonna have to go back and redo the whole page cuz this Lightbox thing is shit.

I do everything digitally so it is kinda easier on my part to go back and add or subtract from a piece without FUBARing the whole thing. Like major black are separate from feather cause I can re work everything easily.
